Testimonials

Three testimonials below for this Veterinary Medicine student.

Year 4 student studying Veterinary Medicine. By the time RT Coopers were instructed, there were false allegations of a sexual nature made by another student ('complainant') which were denied. The investigation did not prove any wrongdoing, yet the student was suspended for over a year and had to adhere to a number of sanctions which the student complied with. RT Coopers were instructed due to fresh allegations (around 150) made by the complainant, which were all unfounded. The student was again suspended from the programme, despite no evidence to prove these allegations. RT Coopers worked tirelessly with the student and in the end all 150 allegations were dismissed. With the assistance of RT Coopers, the student brought allegations against the complainant. The student was able to progress once all of the allegations were dismissed.

UPDATE: 'Now in my final year, I am so very grateful of RTC for providing justice and allowing me to continue my studies. Things could have ended up so differently, and I am so glad to have had RTC in my time of need.' Sam

ORIGINAL:  'RTC have been brilliant since day 1. Even during the first phone call to them, they understood exactly the situation I was going through, and this was no doubt due to the superior experience this law firm has at dealing with issues in a wide variety of sectors.

The situation I raised with RTC was a long-standing issue, one that had gone on for years prior due to wrongdoing within the procedures, but had now escalated. I felt a sigh of relief from the first few moments of contacting RTC, where I was told exactly how wrong I had been treated, and given immediate advice on our next steps. For years I had been mistreated, but RTC was able to come in strong, not only legally, but also give the emotional reassurance that the prejudice I had been facing will be rectified. I believe RTC runs on more than just their legal excellence, but also runs on passionate care for their clients. Communications never felt like strictly business, because RTC are truly invested in getting what is right for their clients, on a personal level.

RTC worked tirelessly to ensure that I got the outcome I deserved. We were pushed back multiple times, but RTC always had different angles and methods to try. Retrospectively speaking, RTC appeared to plot their strategy months in advance, giving methods and advice that I later realised helped me massively in the future. Being one step ahead like this requires a massive amount of experience, which I am grateful RTC had, since there was nothing we came across that RTC hadn’t experienced before.

RTC were readily contactable during all hours and spent so much time helping me. They went beyond even what my personal goal was. My goal, of course, was simply to get justice and get back onto my course. RTC saw how I had been mistreated and ended up going beyond this goal, to ensure I was safeguarded, and that people were held accountable for my mistreatment. This goes beyond the professional advice provided by RTC, and gave a sense that I was truly being looked after, with people supporting me in a time of such uncertainty.

In the end, we got exactly the result we needed. I thank RTC so much for this, as without their superior advice and care, and their experience with a diverse array of situations, I believe the result would have been very different. I am now optimistic about the future, more positive than I have been since being at university, and this is because RTC went above and beyond, and did not rest until I got justice.' Sam

PARTNER

Dr Cooper has been an extraordinary source of support for my fiancé. Confronted with a system that often seemed stacked against him- fighting wrongful allegations while simply trying to continue his university studies- she provided guidance and advocacy far beyond our expectations.

Her deep legal knowledge was matched by her availability, reliability, and honesty. Dr. Cooper stood firmly by our side when we felt we had no chance against the power and complexity of a university institution. She meticulously organised evidence, helped us structure hundreds of pages of documents, and never once backed down in her commitment to justice. Dr. Cooper is not only an outstanding lawyer but also a person of great integrity and strength of character. We will always remain profoundly grateful for her dedication and tireless work.' Em Ma
