‘I would like to express my deepest appreciation for the outstanding service I received. Dr Cooper supported me through both the review and appeal process with remarkable dedication, expertise, and genuine care. She was incredibly helpful, not only in guiding me through every legal step, but also in supporting me personally beyond the appeal itself. One of the qualities I valued most was her fairness. She truly believed in me, which was crucial at a very difficult time, yet she also remained objective and honest, helping me identify areas that needed improvement. She wasn’t simply on my side—she was committed to finding the best, most realistic path forward, and made sure I understood all perspectives involved. I am incredibly happy with the service I received, and I am genuinely grateful that my situation led me to meet and work with her. She is a precious person—intelligent, supportive, and compassionate. I fully intend to continue this relationship, and I would highly recommend her and her team to anyone in need of legal guidance. Thank you for having such an exceptional professional on your team.’ Mohamed Ismail

Medical student allowed by fitness to practise panel to progress with studies after conviction for drinking under the influence.

Trainee pharmacist failed all three attempts at the pre-registration assessment of the General Pharmaceutical Council (‘GPhC’). Our client had also reached the end of the registration period with the GPhC – RT Coopers drafted a Late Appeal – Appeal Upheld. RT Coopers assisted with the preparation of the application to the GPhC to draft the application to extend the registration period. Extension to the registration period granted by the GPhC. 'Dr Cooper is simply the best! She ensured my appeal to the GPhC was successful and has gone out of her way to ensure that I am the best possible version of myself. I am so grateful for the hard work she has put in towards my case, and always will be. She is, without an inkling of a doubt, the person to go to. Thank you, Dr Cooper! CID
Year 3 medical student fitness to practise was held impaired by a Fitness to Practise Panel (‘FtP Panel’). Following the FtP decision, the student was withdrawn from medical school. RT Coopers were instructed after the withdrawal from the programme to prepare an appeal and represent the student before the appeals panel. RT Coopers drafted the appeal, prepared the student for the hearing and represented the student at the appeals hearing. The appeal was drafted on grounds of Extenuating Circumstances and Procedural Irregularity. The appeal was upheld. The student has progressed to Year 4 of medical school. 'Dr Cooper was the deciding factor for me in my Medical School Appeal. From our first call she was calm, clear and focused on what mattered. She took on a messy and stressful situation and broke it into a simple, step by step plan I could actually follow. How Dr Cooper communicates and worked with me was second to none. I was kept in the loop, and she never left me guessing about timelines or next steps. In our discussions she was always prepared and brought structure to what we were talking about. She explained complex points about my case in plain English with no fluff or jargon. Furthermore, her written work was so meticulous and persuasive.
What stood out most was her combination of empathy and straight talking professionalism. She listened to me properly, challenged me when it was needed. Even when I felt overwhelmed, she helped me reset, prioritise and move forward with confidence. Throughout my whole case I genuinely felt like I was in safe hands. Dr Cooper did more than just help with my case itself. She showed me how to navigate the system, how to manage myself under pressure and how to build habits and boundaries so I don’t fall into the same pitfalls again. It felt like real guidance for the bigger picture and not just a short term fix. If you want someone who is thorough, responsive and genuinely invested in helping you come out stronger on the other side, I would recommend Dr Cooper without hesitation.' Brad
'Dr Cooper is one of her kind. I would highly recommend her as your go-to lawyer when you have an academic appeal or fitness to practice situation. My son was expelled from medical school, and we contacted Dr. Cooper for help within a time limited situation. Dr. Cooper helped us all the way through a process that was so convoluted. Without her, that would have been the end of my son's training, but also, the sanction included not being allowed to attend any other medical school in the UK. So disproportionate!
Dr. Cooper guided my son and us as parents through a protracted process and was ever so compassionate and patient with us all. She has even provided some coaching and mentoring along the way for my son. She has remarkable attention to detail and worked immensely hard to gather and present my sons case to the school. There were long nights and weekends, and the professional support was over and beyond.
In the end, my son's appeal was successful (possibly twice, but that's another story) and will be shortly resuming his studies. Dr. Cooper and the RT Coopers team, you are the best, and thank you very much. Your assistance and support were invaluable, and we are very grateful.' gweja gweja

Year 4 student studying Veterinary Medicine. By the time RT Coopers were instructed, there were false allegations of a sexual nature made by another student ('complainant') which were denied. The investigation did not prove any wrongdoing, yet the student was suspended for over a year and had to adhere to a number of sanctions which the student complied with. RT Coopers were instructed due to fresh allegations (around 150) made by the complainant, which were all unfounded. The student was again suspended from the programme, despite no evidence to prove these allegations. RT Coopers worked tirelessly with the student and in the end all 150 allegations were dismissed. With the assistance of RT Coopers, the student brought allegations against the complainant. The student was able to progress once all of the allegations were dismissed.
'RTC have been brilliant since day 1. Even during the first phone call to them, they understood exactly the situation I was going through, and this was no doubt due to the superior experience this law firm has at dealing with issues in a wide variety of sectors.
The situation I raised with RTC was a long-standing issue, one that had gone on for years prior due to wrongdoing within the procedures, but had now escalated. I felt a sigh of relief from the first few moments of contacting RTC, where I was told exactly how wrong I had been treated, and given immediate advice on our next steps. For years I had been mistreated, but RTC was able to come in strong, not only legally, but also give the emotional reassurance that the prejudice I had been facing will be rectified. I believe RTC runs on more than just their legal excellence, but also runs on passionate care for their clients. Communications never felt like strictly business, because RTC are truly invested in getting what is right for their clients, on a personal level.

RT Coopers assisted with the preparation of the application to the GPhC to draft the application to extend the registration period. Extension to the registration period granted by the GPhC. The trainee pharmacist had exceeded the 8 years maximum period to complete the pharmacy education and training and despite the appeal being upheld could not sit the pre registration assessment without an extension of the registration period. RT Coopers worked with the trainee pharmacist to complete a detailed application that was submitted to the GPhC. The extension of the registration period was granted by the GPhC, which means that the student was able to once again sit the pre registration assessment as all 3 attempts were voided by the GPhC following the successful late appeal.
‘Being given another opportunity to sit the GPhC registration assessment is a dream come true for me. Dr Cooper has ensured that the years of hard work I have put in has not gone to waste. She went above and beyond to ensure a successful appeal. Furthermore, she was always available to offer me guidance and support, even with personal matters. Words cannot express how grateful I am for her hard work. I believe I am truly blessed to have met such an amazing human and friend in Dr Cooper. Thanks to her excellence I have been awarded another chance to pursue my dreams. Thank you Dr Cooper!’ Vig

‘When searching online for a solicitor to help me, I found RT Coopers Solicitors. The reviews about the firm and Dr Cooper herself gave me hope. Therefore, I called her office and explained my circumstances to the person who answered my call. They took my details and advised that Dr Cooper would be in touch. Shortly after this, Dr Cooper called me back, and based on the initial conversation with her, I was confident that I had approached the right person for the job. She is extremely knowledgeable and proficient in her field. It was immediately apparent that Dr Cooper did not just see me as ‘another client’ but genuinely wanted the best possible outcome for me.
