Civil Procedure Rules - CPR Amendments – CPR 7 

 

The Civil Procedure Rules will be amended by the Civil Procedure (Amendment No 4) Rules 2011.

The amendments to the Rules are to facilitate the processing of work through the County Court Money Claims Centre and come into force on 19 March 2011.
 
The amendments concern money claims under CPR 7.
Particularly, starting a designated money claim. All designated money claims are to be sent to the County Court Money Claims Centre and the claims will subsequently be issued in Northampton County Court.
 
The County Court Money Claims Centre is situated in Salford and will manage the early stages of the claims including admissions, default judgement, acknowledgement of service, defences and allocation questionnaires.
